Welcome back for Day 5 of the Education Challenge.

How do you get along? Did you skip a day? Were you there each day with all your heart?

What did you DO today to make your dream come true? You will not be able to get anything you want, if you don’t DO EACH day something or a lot, to GET it!

SPURT

As we all know, Sound Prosperity is working with digital money called SPURT. Digital money means money on an account on the internet. It is complementary money, which means that it is used in addition to the money you know. You could say it is EXTRA money. It is money you can use to buy from other people in your community offering services or products. You can buy the things you normally could not afford yourself to buy, due to lack of Dollars. At the same time, the seller of the products could not sell the products, for there was nobody who could pay for the products in Dollars. SPURT offers an opportunity for all.

Let’s take an example:

In your garden, you are growing tomatoes. You use them for yourself, but you have tomatoes in excess. You could sell them if you found buyers. If you cannot find buyers, part of your land would be empty, for you would no longer produce tomatoes. Now that you can accept SPURT, you CAN sell your excess tomatoes or might even start planting beans too. That is increasing the productivity of your land and is increasing your income.

How can you EARN SPURT?

1. As a Business

Perhaps you do not realize that you are acting as a business while selling vegetables or services. It is profitable to be a business. That is why we insist on the teams for all teams are businesses. (Later more on teams.)

If you want to start your own business, understand that there will ALWAYS be Teams willing to support you like you can hire the service of an administrative team, or for example a marketing team. You do not need to understand administration fully but for sure the SPURT part! There is also a team TEACHING you what you need to learn if you want to really start a business. We will go deeper into this when we discuss Business and Teams.

Work You can work for your SPURT. You might think it is all about cleaning the community, but that is not at ALL what we mean. This does not mean that you cannot clean your community anymore!!! SURE, you can, but no longer a few hours just to get an account. It would mean that you set up a team of people who LOVE to clean as a job, at least 10 hours a week for example, or you JOIN such a team as an employee. You will have a REGULAR income doing it this way. The 2 hours this month and 20 the next and zero the month after that is not what you can use to build an existence on. We want continuity!

You can use the SPURT Job option to find a job ANYWHERE, and offer your boss that he does not need to pay for you. Not only that, HE gets paid the same amount he is paying you! We will talk about SPURT Jobs later. You can start an apprenticeship and learn the profession you always wanted to learn. Again, you can be paid in SPURT, and your boss can receive the same amount he is offering you.

Suppose your son, or any other person, has a hairdresser shop. You know you can support him by working at least three hours a week in his shop. Perhaps you can do his administration, or you can clean up, wash the towels, etc. Your son does not need to pay you other than in SPURT, earning SPURT this way himself too and you get paid in SPURT. Your son is saving money now, for he does not need to pay you and you do not need to work for free, what you perhaps normally would do to help him.
The cobbler has now a lot to do so he might need a helping hand too. You tell your daughter to go and assist him so that she can earn SPURT too. Now she is earning SPURT and can buy your vegetables. You do not need to give them for free, for she can pay easily. The cobbler is happy, for he has more profit and does not need to pay extra wages! He might allow a rebate for his service now.
Any business can be supported by accepting people to work for them at least three hours a week, consistently. All these businesses can flourish and have no extra costs. This way the whole community is supported and will start flourishing.
Older people or disabled people. You might be too old to work on the land, and perhaps you are not healthy enough to do that. If that is the case, we start shortly a Social Fund to receive a monthly amount in SPURT to pay for the care and food you need. Perhaps your daughter is taking care of you, but now she does not need to do it for free anymore. She gets paid in SPURT, which we now know can be used to buy nutrition. This way she can save the USD she would normally need to pay with. She can use it to pay for the school of her children, pay taxes or whatever, but she also can save it to invest in a business of her own.
You can work as a teacher, outside of the school, to help children do their homework and teach them things they LOVE to know. Maybe you can teach them to make a dream board. Teach them what money is and how they can COPE with it. (We will discuss this later too.) Isn’t it strange that we don’t learn in school how to handle our money, learning all about math’s and other crap and when we come out of school we work 8 hours a day, at least, to get money in just ANY job, and don’t know how to spend it wisely! So, we learn NOTHING about something so prominently in our lives. You can teach craft, music, dance, sports, what drugs can do with you. Make yourself a teacher of that what you are good at or set up a team with others so that you can all have your own specialism. Keep the children busy while parents are working perhaps, or just while they LIKE to learn. Teach them how computers work. How they can learn ANYTHING they want on the internet. I read a story from someone in India who placed a laptop outside the walls of a school, with a roof over it and internet connection. All the people of the village could go there and use it. There were no instructions. Within a few weeks, children knew how to use google, you tube and all and they LEARNED! They did not GAME!! (He might have blocked those website 😊) But he could not believe what those children learned! They even learned ENGLISH this way.
