teaching technologies. Online learning comes with many different advantages; synchronous and asynchronous participation with adjustable learning speed, the chance of having access to a wide range of students and teachers all at once, discussion opportunities without having to meet one another amidst this pandemic and etc. (Vanides 2018). Although, there are some factors that affect these advantages of online learning, especially for its future use. These factors are represented through time management for we all know that classes take up almost all of our time during the day. As well as students getting frustrated about how hard lessons can be and how other students don't participate during group activities. In addition to that, lack of social communication skills between classmates and teachers. Some programs also experience very high changes in grading records (Ismail, 2018). Students’ characteristics like social and communication skills with students, teachers and other communities can affect the learning of students for various reasons (Hanover Research, 2019). Whatever reason it may be, these factors can cause different obstacles to students who want to learn, which will take them to the point where they won’t learn anything at all or can’t find a way on how to keep all lessons and information inside their mind. Findings stated in Midwestern University, Illinois USA, that participation in online learning were influenced by a lot of factors which includes technology characteristics, learning environment experience, student roles (volunteer or by choice) and tasks made by teachers, as well as too much lessons required for the students to learn (Vonderwell, 2005). Students need to prepare for what's coming for technology will surely affect their learning skills. It

may be mental or physical aspects but they are both important for students to maintain their grades and show good results in class. We are not entirely sure of when a pandemic is going to hit the world again, but we should always prepare for education and it is always an important role for students. Due to the ongoing pandemic, students and teachers were forced to undergo online distance learning or online classes. As students are not used to this type of learning, there are factors that affect the students learning through online distance learning. With devastating news from all around the world saying that the COVID19 cases are increasing, everyone from different places in the world started to worry or even panic because some countries did not know what exactly to do with this sudden appearance of the pandemic. With the sudden outbreak of the 2019-nCoV or well known as the Corona Virus Disease, countries all around the world started to close all institutions, including schools and other educational organizations because of it’s fast spreading virus. People had no choice but to avoid contact with each other to minimize the virus cases. But people believed that stopping education and academics were the wrong decision and decided to continue it in an alternative way, using the process of online classes. With this, different behaviors start to change and adapt into the new environment; virtual and zero contact with other people like classmates and teachers. Kaur et al. (2009) stated that self-concept has three main elements: self- image or self-identity of an individual, self-esteem, or the worth a person instills in himself/herself; and behavior component wherein self-concept influences and

personal problems in life and when it interferes with our study/learning processes, it’ll lead to various outcomes that can affect other factors. For example, running out of motivation can lead to a major procrastination. We do not want to ruin our academic performance and knowing these factors can help us by doing so. Dambudzo (2009) emphasized the importance of academic performance and self-concept as essential for rehabilitating students that may be victims of their undesirable concepts regarding themselves. A study entitled "A Study of Self-Concept concerning Academic performance among 9th Standard Students" was conducted by Murugan and Jebaraj (2017). The specific requirements for arranging these spectacles of self-concept in connection to academic performance as a typical and unsurprising crucial consequence of the student development and advancement as opposed to among enthusiastic manifestation. The self-concept in connection to academic performance ends up being essential in the activities of an individual. As the students are the stakes of future generations, their self-concept pattern concerning academic performance is significant. Some advantages and disadvantages might affect your academics when you are taking distance education (DE) courses. A certain number of the advantages are time, saving money( which you don't need to commute in the middle of home and school ), and self-study (which can help you learn more efficiently and helps students self-esteem). The disadvantage incorporate are isolation yourself, lack of face-to-face interaction( may lead into poor intention by listener and it's not accountable) and especially lack of E-learning Equipments

that might affect your academic(De Paepe, Zhu, & Depryck, 2018; Lei & Gupta, 2010; Venter, 2003; Zuhairi, Wahyono, & Suratinah, 2006). Meerah and Mazlan (2017) identified the relationship between self- concept and an athlete's academic performance. Research findings concluded that there was a weak positive relationship between the variables. This suggests that the respondents possessed considerably higher self-esteem in their study. In the study entitled "Self-Concept, Study Habit and Academic Performance of Students" by Chamundeswari (2014), a significant correlation among the students' self-concept, academic performance, and study habits was shown. The conclusion of his study suggested that the root of all behavior that is motivated is self-concept. Moreover, Anitha and Parameswari (2013) stated that family experiences were the basis of self-concept. Sikhwari (2014) studied the "The Relationship between Motivation, Self-concept, and Academic Performance of Students at a University in Limpopo Province, South Africa," the results indicated that a significant correlation was evident among motivation, self- concept, and students' academic performance. According to Naghebzadeh (2014), there are significant differences among boys and girls not in academic motivation but academic self-concept. As stated by these people, these factors are what affects the teaching and learning process of the students. Each student has their own differences and how they perceive themselves to be. Their lifestyles, personalities, and outlook on life may also be factors that affect their learning process. The ongoing

more initiative in their own education and learning process as a result of the shift to online and modular learning. Tria, J. Z. (2020) stated, we are all currently confined to our homes as a result of the government's lockdown policy. Learning, on the other hand, should not come to a halt. Various countries around the world have introduced various solutions to continue the education process during the pandemic, including the introduction of distance learning. Google, TV broadcasts, rules, and resources are examples of online learning platforms. With schools set to reopen their doors the following school year, it's critical to consider how they'll be able to carry out their mission of providing high-quality education to all students. Because school is a public place where crowds are inevitable and children are vulnerable, it is necessary to strengthen policy in terms of teaching delivery - to create opportunities for online learning. Bernardo, J. (2020) stated, the utilization of modules likewise supports autonomous examination. It guides understudies to rehearse or practice data. To acquire authority of the ideas, practices are given after the movement of exercises from simple to troublesome. The game plan of the activities as such formalizes the degree of trouble that the students can perform. Another advantage of utilizing modules for guidance is simply the securing of a superior report or acquiring abilities among understudies. Understudies connect with themselves in learning ideas introduced in the module. They build up an awareness of others' expectations in achieving the errands given in the module. With practically zero help from the educator, the students’ progress all alone. They are figuring out how to learn; they are enabled.

Educators themselves become energetic. Since understudies have fluctuated learning limits, instructors who use modules can take care of various understudies who work on different errands. Observing understudies' exercises can turn out to be more intentional particularly with understudies who need more direction and consideration. The modules permit them to be busy with authentic exercises like getting ready for another instructing task. The utilization of modules additionally fortifies the covering limit of the educator to take care of the shifting necessities of the understudies without bargaining the nature of guidance. That is, the instructor can screen every understudy in light of the fact that the disappointment of the educator to screen autonomous work may mean mistaken learning by the understudies. According to (Hootsuite Media Inc.,2020) a social management platform, 159% of the entire Philippine population or 108.8 million have mobile connections, with 86% of these having broadband connections. Internet users are at 73 million or 67% penetration, and a majority of these are on social media sites, like Facebook. On the web and mixed learning both necessitate that the understudy and instructor be associated with the web. Albeit much of the time, the learning will be nonconcurrent, there is a piece of time that will in any case require the understudy to be associated with the web to go to a class. This offers access to inquiries of imbalance as schools move to computerization. State funded schools have guaranteed the guardians that there will be printed materials for the individuals who won't associate with the web to refresh their separate classes. Then again, a few schools necessitate that the
