CROSSOVER CIRCUITRY these crossovers are made entirely of passive components and circuitry; the term "passive" means that no additional power source is needed for the circuitry. A passive crossover just needs to be connected by wiring to the power amplifier signal.

MARKETABILITY it is the ability of a commodity to be sold or marketed.

DJ or disc jockey is a person who introduces and plays recorded popular music

MIXER is an item of equipment that arranges multiple input audio signals in a suitable balance, and they adjust tone quality so that the output audio is easy for the audience to listen to. There are many types and models of mixer.

performance arts. In additional to basic lighting, modern stage lighting can also include special effects, such as lasers and fog machines (Gillette, 2003).

Sound System The sound system concept first become popular in the 1950’s DJS would load up a truck with a generator, turntables, and huge speakers and set up street parties, but as time advances and more local music was created, the sound migrated to a local flavour. The sound system was big business, and represented one of the few sure ways to make money in the unstable economy of the area (Paul, 1997).

Qualities of Lighting System

Lighting for the stage involves manipulating the four major controllable qualities of light; Intensity, colour, direction and moment. The intensity of light services can vary from near total darkness to painfully bright. Nearly any colour can you think of can be created through the use of lighting gels or electronic means. Colour can be a major player in creating a mood. However, the lighting designer must be careful in choosing colours so that they coordinate with the colours chosen for costumes and set pieces as will. Direction this is the area from which the light approaches the stage. This is a major contributor to the function of modelling. Light can come from below, directly above or anywhere in between. They can also originate from in front of the actors, behind them or off to a side. Each combination of directions has its unique effect on the highlights and shadows produced. Movement refers to the changing in the lights whether it be a change in intensity, colour or direction or origin (Adrignola, 2009.)

Function of Stage Lighting

Visibility is the primary function of stage lighting: making sure the audience can see the part (s) of the stage that the director and/or the lighting designer want them to see.

The modelling function includes creating a realistic (or intentionally non-realistic) view of the world of the play. This is done by strategically placing lights above, below, to the side, in front and behind the actors, Through the use of the placement of the lights; you can create different types of lights and shadows on the actors, props and set pieces. Selective focus is the function of “forcing” the audience to look where it is desired for them to look through the use of high/low intensity and changes in intensity. The function of mood is both one of the most difficult and at the same time the easiest function to maintain. It is the easiest because it can be done very simply through the use colours. However, it can also be overdone to the point of becoming which instead of allowing the actors and other aspects to contribute to the overall mood the play (Adrignola, 2009.)

Qualities of Sound System

Sound quality is typically an assessment of the accuracy; enjoy ability, or intelligibility of audio output from an electronic device. Quality can be measured objectively, such as when tools as used to garage the accuracy with which the service reproduces an original sound (Teamardionuts, 2015)

Function of Sound System In easy terms, the position of a sound system is to increase and modify the sound of an audio signal, of which offer corresponding output from the speaker system that the listens will pay interest. Were got organized the fundamentals of the method in

While a student at NYU’s Stern enterprise school, co-founder Mark Johnson worked as a DJ at college events and venues based by using “club king” Peter Gatien that consists of the Palladium, Limelight and the Tunnel. Although a professional DJ, Mark found himself drawn more to the technology and mechanics at the back of the track and lighting fixtures gadget and while juggling an afternoon activity as a structures engineer at Goldman Sach’s, he tinkered around and located ways to innovate the sound fine until his technical knowledge have become sought after by means of DJs, eating places and club owners during NYC (Mark Johnson, 1993)

Not surprisingly, that survey showed that the majority of respondents earned most of their annual income from equipment rentals. A considerable 57.3 percent said that more than 75 percent of their annual revenue comes from rental, and 29.3 percent said 61 to 75 percent of revenue comes from rental.

In contrast, the survey reveals the exact opposite finding for equipment service performed as a measurement of annual revenue. Nearly 55 percent earn 5 percent or less from service offerings, while 29.3 percent earn between 6 to 10 percent of annual revenue from service.

In line with these findings, industry consultants recommend maintaining rental as primary focus (Brandey Smith, 2005).

Marketability of Lights and Sound Rental

As long as community used to handle and conduct many different occasions and events, the demand for lights and audio installation will remain vibrant and strong.

Chapter III METHODOLOGY This chapter discuss and describes how will the information will be gathered and data will be use. This chapter includes the research design, source of data, research locale, sampling technique, sampling size, data treatment and also the respondents of the study.

Research Design

Descriptive research express quantitative in which enables to contain collections of quantitative information that may be tabulated along a continuum in numerical form (Glass & Hopkins, 1984). Also, it quantifies the relationship between variables. These variables are the things like age, sex, population, gender, and status which are measurable (Will G. Hokpins, 2000). By this, the study can be attained provided, the objectives of the study.

Sources of Data

This project study will use primary and secondary data in obtaining information and facts which relevant in the study.

Primary data is the information considered original from the source collected specifically for recent task through interviews and survey methods. The information will be taken by having survey guide and face to face interview.

of age whose residence are from the nearby Barangays such as Barangay Dahican, Barangay Sainz, Barangay Matiao, Barangay Mayo and Central.

Sampling Techniques

This study will use quota sampling technique. Quota sampling takes a percentage to some feature or traits of populace through the country they live in, income, education level, or sex. The population is divided into groups (also known as STRATA) and samples are taken from each institution or organization to fulfil a quota. (Andale, 2017).

Sample Size

In collecting data, researchers will carry 900 respondents from five selected areas. The size of the proposed area will be gathered and then the data is being analyze and compute. One approach is equal satisfaction; each stratum is equal to the population size of the stratum.

Data Collection Procedure

Researchers will set first the objectives after which the objectives have been set, Researchers will create survey questions relevant from the objectives and this will be consulted and validated by the experts.

After questionnaire have validated and finalized the survey will be conducted. The researchers will use quantitative method in collecting the data from the respondents namely: church leaders, school official, owners and managers of the

organizations, LGU’s and its constituents, and every individual who conduct their own events through questionnaires.

Survey questionnaires will be equally divided to five chosen barangays in Mati City for about 900 target respondents to accomplish within a month. After the survey will be made and information had collected it’ll be ready for interpretation and tabulation.

Data Treatment

The obtained data from the primary and secondary sources was carefully organized, analysed and interpreted to view with an informative manner. The presented data tabulated by graphs to make it more comparable and can exhibits summary and used statistical mode and percentage to get the right frequency of information. The result of the generalized data were the basis for the presentations of graphs, informative table and visual aids related to data collected and this will be the guidelines for financial analysis and potential market.
