This is an outline for the upcoming exam. You may use one page of notes like on
the quizzes. You may NOT use this study guide on the exam or anything else
typed. ALL NOTES MUST BE HAND WRITTEN!!!
18 multiple choice and 3 free response questions.
Given the acceleration of an object as a function of time and the initial velocity,
determine how long it takes for it to stop.
Be able to find the x and y components of a vector sum, given the two original vectors.
Be able to find the acceleration of an object if you are given the velocity as a function
of time.
Determine the tension in a string given a mass accelerating downward.
Study centripetal force problems.
Look at problems involving work done on an object being pushed up an incline.
Look at conservation of energy problems involving objects running into springs and
coming to a stop.
