OVERVIEW OF THE ORGANIZATION Founded in 1960 Oasis was the first hospital in the emirate of Abu Dhabi, bringing international standards of health care to the community of Al Ain. Oasis has been known for our excellent obstetric and pediatric care still proud to be recognized as one of the best hospitals in Al Ain for expectant mothers and young children.

SERVICES & DEPARTMENTS Oasis Hospital offers specialized services for all members of the family as detailed in our Women’s, Children’s, and Men’s Health Centers. Obstetrics ,ENT clinic, General Surgery, Family & Internal medicine, Men's health, Neonatology, Nutrition service, Ophthalmology ,Pediatrics‘, Physiotherapy, Radiology ,Urgent Care Clinic, Urology, Lab

IT TECHNICIAN

Helpdesk Provide support to system/network administration. Installing and upgrading system software and applications IT Asset and Inventory management ALFRESCO community IT TECHNICIAN IT TECHNICIAN

HELPDESK

The role of the Help Desk Technician is to assist users who are experiencing any procedural or operating difficulty with the use of IT applications, products or services. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES TAKEN  (^) Provide support for all Information Technology products and services. Support may include answering questions, troubleshooting problems.  (^) Records required customer and problem information in the Ticket System. Updates tickets with appropriate journal entries of activities, and closes tickets with resolution entered upon completion of the job.

PROVIDE SUPPORT TO SYSTEM/NETWORK

ADMINISTRATION

  1. Creating user accounts and grant rights
  2. Installing print servers, configuring printing privileges to users
  3. Maintenance and troubleshooting

INSTALLING AND UPGRADING SYSTEM

SOFTWARE AND APPLICATIONS

  1. Installation, configuration, monitoring and maintenance of single-user, multiuser and server based network applications
  2. Installation and monitoring of system software
  3. Installation of workstation operating system upgrades
  4. Diagnosing and repairing of system software problems

2. Redeployment procedures are responsible for ensuring that assets are tracked when moved from one location to another and that budgetary considerations are adjusted as needed. 3. Termination is responsible for deleting the asset from the inventory when it is discontinued, or replaced

IT ASSET MANAGEMENT METHODOLOGY

  1. Identify the asset and its serial number
  2. Associate the asset with its owner and location
  3. Relate the asset to its vendor
  4. Track the maintenance level of the asset and
  5. Provide the asset’s Problem and Change history.

VOIP PHONES

 (^) These specialized phones look just like normal phones with a handset, cradle and buttons.  (^) IP phones connect directly to your router and have all the hardware and software necessary right onboard to handle the IP call.

HOW DO IP PHONE SYSTEMS

WORK?

 (^) Users of a VoIP phone system simply plug their IP phone into the nearest LAN port. Then, the IP phone registers automatically at the VoIP phone system. The IP phone always keeps its number, and behaves exactly the same way, no matter where you plug it in.
