1. Referring to empirical evidence, give an account of the four–component model of
working memory proposed by Baddeley ( 2000) and comment briefly on the
current status of this model.
2. Write on two of the following
(i) Encoding factors in long-term memory
(ii) Retrieval cues and context dependent-memory
(iii) Flashbulb memory
(iv) Spreading activation models of memory storage
3. Examine the effects of post-event misleading information and the cognitive
interview technique on eyewitness memory.
4. Using research examples, describe the nature of expert novice differences in
problem solving.
