Travelling
The chart illustrates the percentage of men, women and children who consumed the recommended amount of fruit and vegetables on a daily basis in three different years. Overall, the amount of fruit and vegetable is eaten by men and children experienced a downward trend, whereas women had ingested a greater amount of fruit and vegetable than men and children throughout the period. Furthermore, all the years had some fluctuations as well. In the year 2002, only 22 percent men are observed to be consuming fruits and vegetables as per daily recommended amount. While more women consumed than men, only 11 percent children ate as per the daily recommended amount which is fairly low. The year 2006, saw a steady increase in the consumption by men and children. However, consumption by women has significantly grown to 32 percent from 25 percent in 2002. But, the percentage of both men and women along with children in 2010 decreased by 2, 6 and 2 percent respectively. Delving deeper into the given illustration, In 2010, the ingestion by men declined by 2% however, a sharp decline was observed in the percentage of females who eat fruits and veggies accounted as 26%. Children remained the least intake of fruits and vegetables that was figured as 16%.
