1.1 Understanding Common vs. Proper Nouns A common noun names general people, places, or things. A proper noun names a SPECIFIC person, place, or thing. Proper nouns must always start with a Capital Letter. Practice Exercise: Circle the common nouns and underline the proper nouns.
1.2 The Change-Up Mastery Most nouns add an "s," but these are special "Irregular" nouns. Write the plural form on the long lines below to practice your handwriting.
3.1 Declarative Sentences (The Teller) Write three complete sentences about your favorite animal or hobby. 3.2 Interrogative Sentences (The Asker) Write three questions you would ask a famous astronaut or a scientist.
4.1 Imperative Sentences (The Boss) Write three commands you would give to a pet dog or a younger sibling. 4.2 Exclamatory Sentences (The Shouter) Write three sentences showing you are very excited about a birthday party!
