You can access an editable version of this form by going to File and then Download – please
ensure you download this in .docx format. Complete this form carefully, and then sign and
date it, save the form as a PDF file, and upload it to your GLOCAL application along with all
other supporting documentation required:
This form, with all fields completed and with your preferred study track clearly marked
CV (any format is acceptable, Europass is preferred)
Two supporting references on headed paper
oMust be dated within 24 months from the date of submission of the application
oMust be on institutional headed paper or with an official stamp. A reference
can be submitted directly to erasmusreferences@glasgow.ac.uk from the
referee’s institutional address. References will not be accepted from a
personal email address
oMust be signed with an electronic or wet-ink signature. A typed name is not
sufficient
oAt least one of the two references should be an academic reference. One may
be a professional reference where it is not possible to obtain two academic
references. It must be from a relevant employer with which you held
employment at some point within the 12 months prior to the date of
submission of the application. The reference must be dated within the past 24
month from the date of submission of the application
Transcripts of all university-level academic studies to date (undergraduate and any
postgraduate studies) in both original language and, if applicable, in an official
English translation. Studies earlier than university are not required
Degree Certificates of all university-level academic studies to date (undergraduate
and any postgraduate studies) in both original language and, if applicable, in an
official English translation
Proof of English-language proficiency (see GLOCAL English Language
Requirements online information)
Colour scan of current passport photo page (candidates with multiple nationalities
must decide at the application stage under which one nationality to apply)
IMPORTANT: Scholarship applications that do not have all the above by the scholarship
deadline will be treated as incomplete and will not be considered.
Where applicants are completing their undergraduate qualifications in the year of their
application, official transcripts to-date, in original language of instruction and, if applicable, an
official English translation are acceptable. Applicants completing their undergraduate
qualifications may submit their official final transcripts and degree certificates by the offer
conditions deadline if they are made an offer of study. All other documentation must still be
provided by the scholarship deadline.

Erasmus Mundus Scholarship Eligibility

To be eligible for an Erasmus Mundus Scholarship, an applicant:  Must not have previously received an Erasmus Mundus Master Course (Action 1) Scholarship  Must complete this Scholarship form and return it, as instructed, no later than 15 January 2026 to be considered for an Erasmus Mundus Scholarship commencing September 2026  Must have submitted ALL required supporting documents by 15 January 2026. If your offer status is ‘holding for documents’, then you will not be considered for a scholarship unless you submit the required documents by 15 January 2026. The only exception to this is final degree certificates where the applicant has not yet completed their Bachelor degree at the time of application  Must have addressed all the requirements described on the GLOCAL website
