The Sacraments of Christian Initiation It is already the 7th^ week of the First Term. Final examination is fast approaching. By the way, how are you now? I hope and I pray that you still have the energy to continue doing your best despite the challenges and difficulties you had encountered from the previous weeks. Do not forget that God is always there for you. Pray and call out His name and offer all your burdens in life, He will make it lighter.
Problems may not stop but also solutions will always overflow for the one who seek God first and whose trust is in the Lord Jesus Christ. You might experience difficulties and hardships in the previous weeks’ activities, but nevertheless you find ways and overcome all of them. As you continue learning and studying may the Lord God will bless you and give more strengths and inspirations. He is our shield from any arrows of dangers and He alone can protect and save us from our unseen enemies. Thus, come closer to God and seek him in your heart for He is always faithful to His promise, be vigilant to His promptings and be aware of His great love, be steward of His vineyard for it is wide and abundant. God is good all the time, and all the time God is with you.

A. FOCUSING ACTIVITIES Title of the Activity: “Short Meditation” Instructions:
1. Sit up straight and put your palms on your lap. 2. Close your eyes and listen to all the sounds and noises of your surroundings. 3. As you listen to the sounds and noises, slowly focus your attention to the sounds of the air coming in and out from your nose. 4. Then, as you focus on the sounds of the air from your breathing, try to imagine that you are walking beside the shore alone and thinking that God will hold your hand as you continue walking, until you totally put your attention to your conversation with God.
B. Activation of Prior Knowledge Title of the Activity: “ Bible Sharing ” Instructions: Try to contact your group members through txt or chat. Read one Bible verse and share to them. Ex. (John 14:6) Answer the following questions below.
In this lesson you will be learning something about the two effects of Baptism and the Threefold office of Jesus Christ as, Prophet, Priest, and King. You will also learn something about Christ’s mission in which every Christian is sharing. To know more about this topic you will answer some activities here with. As you go through with this topic you will develop a sense of OBEDIENCE. At the end of this lesson you are expected to write a reflection or insights about the Threefold office of Jesus Christ. You are also expected to discuss and exchange ideas with your assigned partner.
Through Baptism, we have been incorporated into the community of believers and now share in the divine life. As young adults, we are called to proclaim this truth and live out our Christian vocation through charitable words and deeds.
As Prophet
Christ is the mouthpiece of God as the Prophet, speaking and teaching the Word of God, infinitely greater than all prophets, who spoke for God and interpreted the will of God. The Old Testament prophet brought God's message to the people. Christ, as the Word, the Logos, is the source of revelation. Accordingly, Jesus Christ never used the messenger formula, which linked the prophet's words to God in the prophetic phrase Thus says the Lord.

Christ, whom believers draw near to in confidence, offered Himself as the sacrifice for humanity as High Priest, Old Testament priests declared the will of God, gave the covenant of blessing, and directed the processing of sacrifices. The priest represented humankind before God. While humankind took the office of priesthood in their weakness, Jesus holds the position with an indestructible power that overcomes the weakness of humanity as described throughout the book of Hebrews. As High Priest, Christ became one with humanity in human weakness, offered prayers to God, chose obedience through suffering, and sympathized with the struggles of humanity.The atoning death of Christ is at the heart of His work as High Priest.
As King
Christ, exalted High Priest, mediates the sin that estranges humankind from the fellowship of God. In turn, He has full rights to reign over the church and world as King. Christ sits at the right hand of God, crowned in glory as "King of kings and Lord of lords". "God put this power to work in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the age to come. And he has put all things under his feet and has made him the head over all things for the church." So priest,prophet and king are the threefolds.

Reflection: Today, you have learned something about the effects of Confirmation to man and kinds of Gifts of the Holy Spirit received by every baptized and confirmed person. Many people have received already the sacrament of confirmation. But the question is, “Are they aware of the Gifts of the Holy Spirit they received during their baptism and their confirmation? Are they aware of the functions of those gifts? Now, it’s your turn to answer, as young adult, are you aware of the gifts of the Holy Spirit you have already in life? If not yet, then, ask God to have it.
