In this project we are going to control the speed of the DC fan automatically as the surrounding temperature changes. Thus when temperature of surrounding increases speed of fan also increases and when temperature decrease speed of fan also decreases. This is achieved by using the principle of thermistor.
1. 1k RESISTOR A resistor is a passive two-terminal electrical component that implements electrical resistance as a circuit element. 2. 1N4001 DIODE A diode is a two-terminal electronic component that conducts current primarily in one direction it has low resistance in one direction, and high resistance in the other.
A light-emitting diode is a two-lead semiconductor light source.
6. MOTOR A DC motor is any of a class of rotary electrical machines that converts direct current electrical energy into mechanical energy.
A single-pole, single-throw ( SPST ) switch is as simple as it gets. It's got one output and one input. The switch will either be closed or completely disconnected. SPSTs are perfect for on- off switching.
8. THERMISTOR A thermistor is a type of resistor, whose resistance depends on temperature.
