Good evening everyone, My name is Lakshita Jain, and I shall be your host for the day. I welcome you all to today’s session on the topic “Stress Management”. I would like to welcome our Keynote Speaker “Mr Ajinkya Godase, a psychotherapy department head at Dr Hedgewar Rugnalay, Ichal karanji” We are honoured by your presence sir. Our principal , Dr. Asmita Vaidya has also graced the occasion, We are grateful to have you here with us. We also have with us our Program officer Prof Krutika Tembhurnikar mam and other senior profs and faculty members, and some other extremely senior members of the legal profession. We welcome you all. Today’s lecture has been organized by the NSS unit of Government Law College Mumbai The Govt Law College, Mumbai has a heritage spanning over a century and a half and has dominated the legal landscape of India since its inception in 1855. This esteemed institution enjoys the distinction of being Asia’s oldest Law college. Generations of distinguished legal luminaries, who have been nurtured by this unique institution, have made a seminal contribution to the evolution of the Indian Legal system. The college has consistently maintained high standards of education by emphasizing on the crucial balance between academics, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. Further, the NSS Unit of GLC Mumbai under the guidance of our beloved Program Officer, Prof Krutika Tembhurnikar mam, is relentlessly working on the lines of the motto “Not me, but you”. under the Leitmotif of Azadi 75. Azadi 75 is the celebration of 75 years of the constituent assembly, we at GLC Mumbai shall have 75 such events, to commemorate this special occasion. Before we proceed, we shall now play the Saraswati Vanadana to request Saraswati ma to shower us with her Blessings: --- Saraswati Vandana---- I would now like to take this opportunity to introduce our honourable principal, Dr. Asmita Vaidya; An academician, educator, social activist and an able administrator, whose vast experience in the field of academia and social service has placed her at the front lines of various social issues, effecting reforms, and empowering people. Dr. Vaidya is also the recipient of several awards, such as the ‘Tejaswini’ award, the ‘Nation Builder’ award, and the ‘Super woman 2020’ award. She has served as the Head of the Department of LAW at
N.M.D College of Arts, Commerce, Law and Management, Gondia, and has acted as the Principal of Gokhale Education Society's, N.B. Thakur Law College, Nashik, before finally taking up the responsibility as the Principal of Government Law College, Mumbai. As an accomplished leader, Dr. Vaidya has won over the hearts of all students at GLC with her enthusiasm and efforts to introduce a variety of programmes and courses. Commemorating 75 years of Indian independence. I request Ma’am to speak a few words on this occasion. I would now like to take this opportunity to introduce our keynote speaker and chief guest for today Mr. Ajinkya Nitin Godase SPEAKER: Our Key note speaker and Chief Guest for today is Dr. Kush Panchal, Sir, holds an MA in Clinical psychology, a Diploma in child and family counseling and is presently a Psychotherapy dept head at Dr Hedgewar Rugnalay, at Ichalkaranji He has been conducting various workshops for different types of sectors and industries namely Mechanical, Health, Educational, Textile etc. He has Worked with the Basic training Regiment (BTR) of the Indian Army for 3 years. Besides, he also Conducts various workshops for different age groups on a wide range of topics such as overcoming procrastination, relationship development, motivational interviewing, emotional management etc.
