This means that they are original documents, you are the creator or that you have the permission to sell them. Types of Documents2.1 summary documents: summaries, outlines, conceptual maps, presentations; discursive documents: notes, slides, handouts, thesis, research, projects; exercises: solved exam exercises, quizzes and so on. The main categories of documents are: documents you have already created in the past; you can create and sell new ones. You can choose: There is no set template for accepted documents but remember that the most sold ones are clear, well explained, well structured and formatted. Since each type of document has its own characteristics, each one of them can have value for buyers. So ask yourself: would I buy it? Why? Why not? Number, length and subject of the documents 2.2 Document subject One step in the document selling form is choosing the subject among the available ones. For example, if the document is “child brain development” the subject could be “developmental psychology”. 7 My first upload If you can’t find the exact subject of your document, select a broader one. Considering the case below, the broader one could be “general psychology”. If there is absolutely no proper subject to select from the list you can reach out to Docsity support to explain the problem and suggest the subject you need. DOWNLOAD Why does Docsity use premium points? In order to buy a document, users have to subscribe to a Premium Plan or Power Top-Ups. Check section 3.1 to learn more. Each type of premium subscription includes a different amount of points the users can spend on the Docsity Store. By setting a document price you can choose how many points the user will have spend to get that document. Once in the store, the user can see how many points your document costs but not the money you earn. My first upload 11 Document Title 20 POINTS Want to know better how to set a price? After uploading Once you have uploaded a document, it will take approximately 48 hours to be approved by the system and appear on the Docsity Store. During these 48 hours, you can’t take any direct action (e.g. delete or edit) on the document. If you notice the approval time is longer or you need to modify/delete your document in those 48 hours, contact Docsity's Support. 2.7 To edit: go to the section “my documents” → “uploaded” → select the document → “edit”. Change the sections you want (title, description, price, etc...). To delete: go to the section “my documents” → “uploaded” → select the document → “edit” → “delete”. Once approved, it’s possible to edit or delete a store document anytime. In the section Documents management and visibility of the FAQs there are some answers related to this topic. My first upload 12 My Earnings and Withdrawals chapter 04 15 As a seller, you decide how much to earn from each download. While uploading the document, in the sale form, you set the price of the document. Docsity applies a fee of approximately 30% of the price to each transaction for marketplace services. This fee may change depending on the buyer's country and currency. However, in the sale form it is possible to see all your earnings per download. How much do I earn with each download? 4.1 Creating your Paypal account4.2 All you need to withdraw is a PayPal account. If you haven't already, see the instructions below: Go to www.paypal.com in a web browser; If you prefer, you can use a PayPal mobile app on your phone or tablet. Click “Sign Up” (blue button in the upper-right corner of the page); Select sign up for a “Personal” account; Select your Country; Enter your personal details; After creating your PayPal account, link your credit card and bank account to PayPal; For this, click the “Pay & Get Paid” tab and select “Banks & Card”. Once you add a payment method to PayPal, you can use it to send money. Verify your email address with PayPal. My Earnings and Withdraw 16 In case that you have already created your PayPal account, you can add or check your PayPal email address in the sales section. How do I withdraw my earnings? Is there a minimum or maximum amount to withdraw? 4.3 To make a withdrawal request you must have earned more than € 10, $ 10 or R$ 20,00. If you have this minimum, the withdraw button will be activated in the sales section of your account. The money will be paid directly to the PayPal account that you have associated with the account during the filling of your seller profile. If necessary, you can change your PayPal account whenever you want in the sales section. When can I withdraw my earnings? You can make your withdrawal request at any time, as long as you must have earned more than €10, $10 or R$ 20,00.
