1. Different types of training and development activities given by the manufacturing
industry
- Training is effort initiated by an industry to foster learning among its workers,
and development is effort that is oriented more towards broadening an individual’s skills
for the future responsibility. The efforts of career planning and development were mainly
dedicated on many employees those demonstrate to have a high potential. It has been
suggested for the industry to make plan for future and provide training and development
to their fresh employees for the high-ranking positions in future. Human Resource
Management has played a significant role in the economic development of most
developed countries, this method of to perform a task. The idea of training is the need for
a greater productivity and safety in the operation of specific equipment or the need for an
effective sales force.
- Aside from, HRM training method, Designing Manufacturing Program creates
learning objectives, performs learning analysis and training need analysis. One of the
purposes of this method is the Learning objective where it can be based on three areas of
learning, which is knowledge, skills and attitudes. Learning objectives define learning
outcomes and focus teaching. They help to clarify, organize and prioritize learning. They
help the employees to evaluate progress and encourage them to take responsibility for
their fulfilling their task. While in training need analysis, it specifically determining the
training needed by each employee in order to perform their specific job task. This
analysis is necessary to determine the training needs of the employees or a specific job.
Furthermore, for the industry, training and development leads to improved profitability
while cultivating more positive attitudes toward profit orientation. However, in
contributing to the overall goal of the organization, training and development processes
are implemented as these benefits will not just the organization but also the individuals
making up that organization, wherein training and development leads to improved
profitability while cultivating more positive attitudes toward profit orientation, training
and development improve job knowledge while also helping in identifying with the goals
of the organization.
