Chromebook OS version 53 or above is required to run Android apps. To check the version of
Chrome OS installed on your Chromebook, in the Chrome browser, type chrome://help/ in the URL
bar and then press Enter.
Steps to install the app:
Sign in to Google Play Store
1. Click your account picture in the Chrome OS status area.
2. Click the icon (Settings).
3. On the Settings page, in the Google Play Store (beta) area, select Enable Google Play Store On
Your Chromebook.

Prerequisite

Chromebook OS version 53 or above is required to run Android apps. To check the version of Chrome OS installed on your Chromebook, in the Chrome browser, type chrome://help/ in the URL bar and then press Enter. Steps to install the app:

Sign in to Google Play Store

  1. Click your account picture in the Chrome OS status area.
  2. Click the icon (Settings).
    1. On the Settings page, in the Google Play Store (beta) area, select Enable Google Play Store On Your Chromebook.
  1. Click Get Started.
  2. Agree to the terms of service and click Sign In.
  3. Click Accept.

Install the app

  1. Click the icon in the Chrome OS shelf to open Google Play Store.
  2. Search for the Adobe app you want to install; for example, Photoshop Express or Lightroom for mobile.
  3. Click Install.
