However, it is interesting to know that skin is the largest organ in the body and a square inch of skin has around 19 million skin cells!! Who doesn’t want a clean, clear, glowing, radiant skin? It’s every woman’s dream to have a clear complexion free of pimples, acne, black-heads, and wrinkles. The condition of our skin depends on a variety of factors – genetic makeup, general health, diet, emotional status, and our lifestyle. Although we cannot do much about the genes, we certainly can take care of the other factors that influence the health of our skin. Make sure to select a cleanser, toner, and moisturizer, which is suitable for your skin type. Once you find a suitable one, stick to that product rather than trying out all the new brands that keep appearing in market. If needed, a dermatologist should be consulted in case of severe acne/pimples. Avoid using over the counter magic skin lotions and creams that are advertised by various companies. Skin care routines will vary depending on the type of one’s skin. Some have dry skin, some have oily skin and the most commonly found is the combination skin type where you have dry and oily skin. Oily skin definitely is more prone to acne, pimples, breakouts and blackheads.
