Based Pathway test
1. You are required to bring
your ID card without which
you will not be allowed to sit
for the test.
2. Plagiarism in any form will
not be tolerated and will
lead to disqualification
from the product based
pathway and other penalties.
3. Plagiarism included copying
of code. If any student is
involved in using unfair
means in the contest or the
quiz then the same will

8. In this pathway, the
following 03 courses based
on competitive coding
theme will be offered in the
next two terms i.e. Term 5
and Term 6 besides the
Engineering minor, Open
Minor and other regular
courses.

Instructions for the Product

Based Pathway test

  1. You are required to bring your ID card without which you will not be allowed to sit for the test.
  2. Plagiarism in any form will not be tolerated and will lead to disqualification from the product based pathway and other penalties.
  3. Plagiarism included copying of code. If any student is involved in using unfair means in the contest or the quiz then the same will result in disqualification.

  1. A maximum of 135 students will be registered for this pathway. The students will be selected on the basis of performance in the online programming contest. The details of the shortlisting process are:
    1. A separate coding based diagnostic test of 70 marks will be conducted on 29 th April, 2023 (Saturday) on Hackerrank platform. The test will have 02 coding problems (each of 35 marks) to be solved in 01 hours.
    2. A section of 15 multiple choice questions on Database Management Systems, Operating Systems, Data Structures, Computer Networks (totalling 30 marks) will be conducted and the same needs to be solved in 15 minutes.
  2. The students which have a maximum of 02 E/F/G/M grade courses at the time of last date of registration, that is, 15th April 2023 will be considered for this pathway.
  3. The number of courses for the students in the coming semesters will remain the same as for all the other students in 3rd year. These courses will replace some of the courses.
  4. The students selected in the programming test will have to continue with the product-based pathway. There will not be any
