things. Ex: short, bad, wide, beautiful, fat, ….. - form sentences using descriptive adjectives - describe their own cartoon character

then in pairs)
-asks students to give her
three words to describe
someone they love (whole-
class) -write the words on the
board -elicits the definition of
"adjective words": words
are adjectives and that
adjectives are words that
describe people, places or
things. ( she can describe
one of the students "Noha is
tall" to elicit that adjectives
are words that describe
people. Then she can
describe the "chair, board,
school,… " to elicit that
they describe things or
places as well.
-brings a dolls house and
asks them to think of some
sentences to describe it
(individually), compare
their sentences in pairs
(pair-work), and then share
them with the class (whole-
class). Ex:. It is a small house
