We all know that there are just some things in life that are
inevitable. Let me ask you something, have you ever experienced
a dream? Well I mean, who doesn’t? I am sure that you already had
some of those little thoughts on your mind while you are asleep,
‘cause I had mines too. Some people who had a dream might have
wished that it wasn’t just a dream. Like some dreams were just too
wonderful that one would wish it was true. But what if it wasn’t just
a dream. It was something that is more horrific, or in other words,
it’s a nightmare. I bet you’ll say nightmares are something that are
scary or terrifying. But what if nightmares can be as good as
dreams?
I want to share with you something from my childhood
memory. One night, I had this nightmare and it was all about a
gigantic monster who was trying to catch me. It was night already,
and me being an innocent child, travelled my way to the ice cream
shop, to buy ice cream of course. And then suddenly, everything
in the place turned into pitch black. The electricity was down, and
while I was so scared and worried, the owner of the ice cream
shop was so happy that he won’t have to worry about his
electricity bill. But all of a sudden, there was a growling noise from
a distance. I was so scared and I thought that it is a monster. I

I kept on running and running and I noticed that the monster was already behind me. It was so dark that all I can see was the glowing eyes of the monster, but I kept

on running. Until I stumbled down to the ground. “Help, somebody help me!”, I shouted. Then I heard a very low voice which said, “No one will help you, silly. It’s only the two of us in this place”, and I realized that it was the monster. I was shocked when the monster even helped me to stand up, until I knew why he was following me. He only wants my ice cream! He got my ice cream, thank me and run away. Then my dad came and asked me If I was alright. I answered, “No dad, I’m half left”, kidding! After all of those weird things that happened, we went back home to eat a luscious meal in the kitchen. Then I was just flabbergasted when I heard my mom calling and she was like, “Bretong, Bretong! Tanghali na!”. And then I finally realized that it was all just a dream, or should I say, a ‘good nightmare’. That’s when I realized that maybe not all nightmares are terrifying as they were supposed to be. Well hey, I never thought that it will be so much fun thay even today I was still wishing for part 2. To further answer the question, can nightmares be as good as dreams? In reality, it won’t, because nightmares will always be nightmares. But then it will only be based on your own product of imagination. That will be all, thank you for listening and have a great day!
