Experiment Section 1
Measurement for Alkaline cell = 1.5 Volts . Displayed value =1.530 V + or – 0.0005 V
Measurement for Rechargeable cell =1.2 Volts. Displayed value =1.269 + or – 0.005 V
Measured Value Expected
3.980 V + or – .0005 V 3.980 + or – 0.0005 V
7.99 V+ or – 0.005 V 8.01 V + or – 0.005
11.97 V + or – 0.005 V 11.99 V + or – 0.005
16.01 V + or – 0.005 V 15.99 V + or – 0.005
As we can see from the measured value taken from the DMM and Expected value from the
power supply, we can observe slight degree of uncertainty in voltage measurements.

Compounded Uncertainty calculation method ∆R = (Ω) ∆v/V +∆I/I )R Q.1 There is visible difference in calculated and measured values, this still comes under normal and acceptable margins of error or if we consider 95% confidence interval method used in Statistics. Q.2 The resistor D the first one show closest to the measured R compare to others Resistors. Q.3 Since we are technological advance I presume electronic instruments are more accurate.
