Students in the previous lesson you have learnt about some organ systems. You are aware that a group of organs which work together like a team to perform a specific function form the organ system. For example: Circulatory System and Respiratory System.

Today, we will learn about the skeletal system.

Listening Carefully Beginning Statement

Students ,look at the image. Focus on the diagram of the skeletal system. You can see the various parts of the skeletal system like

The skeletal system comprised of bones. These bones are hard substances that help in body movement, give support, protect the various organs of the body, produce red and white blood cells and store minerals.

Do you know what you would look like without your skeletal system?

We would look like a bean bag, without shape and without structure.
