development of software (Holmlund et al., 2020). In general, data analytics is the primary process
of analyzing and exploring datasets in order to find various hidden patterns, the unseen trends,
discover various correlations and derive valuable insights. For example, one can utilize data
analytics in software development and testing in order to drive a real-time analysis and enhance
informed decisions. In the contemporary era, the software development cycle is no longer a process
that involves developers only in looking at their testing and coding. Software development needs
to primarily focus on the data analytics as developers in the modern era need to work as a cross-
functional team and utilize different tools of multiple types.
Data analytics is the basic science of examining raw data and utilizing it in order to arrive
at a particular conclusion. The utilization of data analytics in software development helps the cycle
to run smoothly and efficiently. In the modern era, data analytics has utilized different algorithms
