I. Determine what most appropriate method of collecting data today and the Scale of Measurement
that will be used in a study to “Find the Number of people who were positive with the
CONVIRUS by March 31, 2020 in Manila”.
Answer: Since the pandemic has spread all over the world, it is much better to collect data using the
Registration Method. Because the collecting data is governed by DOH and as for the Scale of
Measurement that will be used is the Ratio Scale of Measurement. According to the DOH report, the
Philippines has 2,084 coronavirus cases and 538 new cases on Tuesday, March 31, the biggest single day
increase so far.
