Data on mortality and neurological morbidity rates of preterm babies in europe, standardized by gestational age and sex. The data includes crude and standardized rates of neurological morbidity (ivh grades iii & iv + pvl) and bpd (oxygen dependence or mechanical ventilation at 36 weeks), as well as survivors with specific risk factors associated with later impairment. The data is presented for ten european regions and the average for all regions.
