License (3) Full License
2. permit - -Pass Vision & Knowledge Test
3. -Must hold 9 months without Violation
4. -Need to have a guardian that is 21 and older with 3 yrs of experience
5. Provisional Liscense - Must be 16 and 6 months, Complete Drivers Ed, Submit
60 hours of driving practice, and pass driving skills test
6. if under 18 Can't drive teens unless fam
7. can't drive between 12 am and 5 am unless for extra curriculars

10.-14 hrs of driving

- Even numbers means E to W
- Odd numbers N to S
15.Warning Signs - normally are yellow and diamond-shaped, with black letters or
symbols.

  3. Yellow Lines - Seperates cars going in opposite directions, mark on LEFT edge of the road
  4. Single solid yellow line - Marks left edge lines on divided highways, one-way roads, and ramps
  5. Double Yellow - no passing
  6. Solid and broken yellow lines - A broken yellow line alongside a solid yellow line indicates that passing is permitted only in one direction. If the broken yellow line is on your side, you may pass
  7. when the roadway ahead is clear. If the solid yellow line is on your side, you may not pass.
  8. Single broken yellow line - You can pass only if its safe
  9. White Lines - separate travel lanes moving in the same direction, where you may stop, mark the RIGHT edge of the road
  10. Solid White Line - Crossing is not reccomended but acceptable
  11. HOV (High occupancy vehicle) - __ lanes are travel lanes that are restricted to vehicles with more than one occupant
  12. The lanes are marked with a diamond symbol and the hours of restriction are posted.
  13. Yield - a driver should let other users go first
  14. Pre-entry check - car fluid, animals, or objects nearby
  15. 3 P's Pets, Pedestrians, Property.
  16. Getting Started - (1) Lock Doors
  17. (2) Adjust seat and head restraint so that head is align with head restraint and should be small as possible
  18. Best hand position is 9 to 3 or 8 to 4
  19. (3) Mirror check for every 5 secs
  20. (4) Safety Belts- Primary Violation
  21. (6) Turn off electronics
  1. Accelerator Failure - Shift the N, steer and brake smoothly off road
  2. engine failure - Dont brake and shift to N
  3. Engine Failure - Temp gauge will be in red and going up. Turn on heater and turn off AC, dont open radiator
  4. break failure - turn hazard signal, pump brake to put some pressure, shift car into lower gear
  5. Night Driving - high beams if no uncoming traffic
  6. D.U.I - BAC of .08% or higher 12 pts revoked, 1st offense $1000 or 1 yr
  7. DWI - Driving While Impaired- .07%-.05% 8 pts and suspension 1st offense $ 2 months in jail
  8. Open Container Law - Alcoholic beverages must be in the trunk. No other places must it be open
  9. refuse breath test - suspension. implied consent for drug and drinking test
  10. Aggressive driving - committing any 3 moving violation
