Overview:
Data & Analytics is a critical member of the HR Reporting Services team that
provides expertise in workforce data, reporting and analysis for workforce initiatives.
This role supports business needs by ensuring the right data, metrics and reporting
is leveraged to drive better business decisions and supports efforts to standardise
and optimise reports and metrics globally.
Job Responsibilities:
●Develop Microsoft Access Databases, including tables, queries, forms and reports,
using standard IT processes, with data normalisation and referential integrity
●Blend data from multiple sources to create reports and dashboards for the
business that display key metrics and trends over time.
●Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices and established standards are
in use
●Help write and optimize in-application SQL statements
●Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases
●Prepare documentations and specifications
●Handle common database procedures such as upgrade, backup, recovery,
migration, etc.
Requirements:
●Excellent Written and verbal communication skills.
●Able to debug/code difficult functions/macros using VBA
●Ability to normalise complex data/define referential integrity in Access
●Ability to programmatically manipulate worksheet and cell properties using VBA
●Must possess problem solving skills and be proactive in researching solutions
●Proficiency with SQL and its variation among popular databases
●Experience with some of the modern relational databases
●Capable of troubleshooting common database issues
