Network Troubleshooting Report A thorough analysis revealed that several network functions had been compromised. Issue 1 - The Sales Department network segment needs read/write/execute privileges to the Customer Service Department network segment. I approached this troubleshoot by first thinking about why a communication loss would occur. My first thought was to check the firewall rules because that is a good place to start for any issues with network traffic when a firewall is in play. Firewall rules often cause issues at the network layer, and I was correct in determining that the firewall rules were not configured to allow communication between the sales and customer service subnets. Reconfiguring the firewall effectively solved the problem and allowed free communication between the sales and customer service subnets.
