step 1: Create and configure ADDC server ( Active Directory Domain controller) - ADDC server, It is
used to create user, DNS, Maintaining Server, Controlling Domain, and Performing better services
rather than others.
- It is used to provide initial path to manage and configure active directories, user
management, organization management, policy implementation etc.
- To configure ADDC server we have following steps:
a. Provide strong password to the admin.
b. Setup network configuration or static IP.
c. Update windows/turn off firewall.
d. Go to server manager - click on manage - and select add role and features.
e. Verify your local configuration such as server name, Ip address, location, and initially
three steps.
f. Select option 2 (windows server active directory services) only and click on next.
g. A new Window of ADDC feature will be available – click on add features and next.
h. Again a feature windows will be available don’t select anything from there.
i. Verify your configuration and click on install.
