These are things I remember from the test: Role of Aggregate planning (strategic business plan), Engineering plan (question was what it included: Product Design/Process Design similar to question 6/7 on PA), know that Sales/Op Plans updated monthly, know diff between level/chase; Method Analysis (steps and results, specifically it identifies SOP for training and perf eval for existing employees); Pull/Push, know difference and how to apply; also know Kanban Production CRP role and calculating workloads at critical work centers (no parent/children) - I totally guessed on this. The problem looked diff than the text; MRP definition, when to outsource and the effects of outsource, Info Sys contribution to MRP; Design/Effective Capacity (mine was design - I remembered by the D in ideal which helped because ideal was in the questions); ISO9000 wasn't on my test, but ISO14000 was (what its used for); Know formulas for: Efficiency- Productivity- process velocity- Ratio of throughput time to value-added time. (Q25 on PA has all of them); Inventory Management: preventing stockout, counting daily, continuous/periodic Questions similar on OA: 9, 13, 19, 21, 22, 26, 28, 32 For management planning section: Make sure you memorize the planning process steps like

  1. Strategic Business plan
  2. Sales & operation plan which also has sub section: learn and memorize what that subsection contains because I had one question from that. then
  3. Aggregate planning. Memorize the Process performance metrics and learn all the 5 processes, how they are calculated. like process velocity: it is a measure of wasted time in the system which is calculated by: throughput time/value added time the question in oa can either ask you how process velocity is calculated or what does it measure. (the powerpoint also focuses on this part)
