Poincaré Sphere in Soft Electronics: Understanding Polarization States, Study notes of Electrical and Electronics Engineering

An overview of the poincaré sphere concept in the context of soft electronics, specifically organic electronics and lcds. The poincaré sphere is a 3d representation of the stokes parameters, which represent polarization states. How points on the sphere correspond to different polarization states, and how the orientation and ellipticity of polarization change as you move around the sphere.
