- If the verb ends in a consonant preceded by a single vowel, we double the final consonant and we add -ED to form the past simple. PRONUNCIATION

We pronounce “t” after: -voiceless sounds (suoni sordi, senza vibrazioni delle corde voCali): p , k , s , f and voiceless th sound.
