Hyemin Bae Level: Senior Associate Consultant Office: Seoul School: Seoul National University Major: Architecture “Working at Bain has exposed me to numerous industries and management issues in a short period of time. The diversity of experience is unique. And I can always depend on my more experienced team members to support my efforts and provide valuable advice. With all the new challenges and supportive Bain culture, I’m always learning.”

Cullen Knights Level: Consultant Office: Boston and Amsterdam School: Dartmouth Major: Economics “I can’t think of another entrylevel position with such an advantageous, handson introduction to business. I’ve had the opportunity to personally help clients solve their biggest problems. My sixmonth transfer to the Amsterdam office made my expe- rience even broader and more enriching. Because of my incredible experience at Bain, I decided to stay when I was promoted directly to consultant.”

You’ll train with your colleagues from around the world, tackling real business issues. When you start working with a new client, in a new industry, on a new problem, you’ll hit the ground running with the support of our intranet-based Global Experience Center. You’ll learn by doing—and more experienced Bain colleagues will guide you every step of the way. If you come to Bain, you’ll continue to grow as a business professional.

At Bain, you’ll always be challenged.

“Bain training prepares you for anything in business. Even in journalism, I use what I learned at Bain every day. Being able to see instinctively how a business makes money gives me the confidence to go into a meeting with a chief executive, ask the right questions and then formulate a viewpoint in a matter of hours.” – Thorold Barker, Financial Times

“Bain has given me a skill set that is unique in the world of international development. As a founder of the India office, I am able to work with the Indian government to set priorities and allocate their budget based on datadriven analysis, so that they can treat the largest number of HIV/AIDS patients effectively. It’s incredibly rewarding work that directly leverages my learnings from Bain.” – Sonali Duggal, William J. Clinton Foundation HIV/AIDS Initiative

“I truly believe that Bain is the best springboard for any job in any industry. Not only did Bain help me discover my passion for retail, but it also prepared me extremely well to succeed in that industry. I still draw on Bain’s teachings in everything from financial analysis to competitive research, and from leading a crossfunctional team to managing change. What’s more, my Bain mentors continue to give me wonderful support both personally and professionally.” – Katlyn Gao, Neiman Marcus Group

“The problemsolving approach one learns at Bain is applicable in nearly every business, even one as unconventional as professional sports. Bain taught me how to break down a problem effectively, focus on the truly relevant results and then present my conclusions with confidence and clarity. Professional sports teams are mired in the ‘old school’ methods, but my Bain training has been an invaluable asset as I provide the club with new ways of examining old problems.” – Anthony Fluet, San Francisco 49ers

Bain was founded over 35 years ago on the principle that consultants must measure their results by their clients’ financial returns. We help top management teams beat their competition and generate substantial, lasting impact. We’re so passionate about our clients’ success that we will take equity in lieu of fees. In other words, we prosper only if our clients prosper. In all, we are 4, 8 00 individuals from varied backgrounds working in 39 offices around the world.
