1. Cyclosporine - immunosuppressants // used to prevent organ rejection in
people who have received a liver, kidney, or heart transplant. It is usually
taken along with other medications to allow your new organ to function
normally // works by weakening the immune system to help your body
accept the new organ as if it were your own.
2. Methimazole - antithyroid agent // used to treat HYPERthyroidism // works by
making it harder for the body to make thyroid hormone.
3. Valsartan - ARB // relaxes blood vessels so that blood can flow more easily
// used to treat high BP and HF
4. Atenolol - Beta blocker // used to treat high BP // function: slows HR and BP
// helps prevent strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems. This
medication is also used to treat chest pain (angina) and to improve
survival after a heart attack.A
5. Levothyroxine - hormone // treats hypothyroidism ; regulates the body's
energy and metabolism
6. Amoxicillin - penicillin antibiotic // stops the growth of bacteria
7. Prazosin - antihypertensive // treats hypertension ; relaxes blood vessels
allowing blood flow // Lowers high blood pressure helps prevent strokes,
heart attacks, and kidney problems.
8. Rituximab - used to treat certain types of cancer ( lymphoma, chronic
lymphocytic leukemia). It works by slowing or stopping the growth of
cancer cells.
→ Some brands of rituximab are also used to treat rheumatoid
arthritis and can decrease joint pain and swelling
9. Hydroxyurea - Chemo drug that treats Chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) and
sickle cell anemia crisis. // it interferes with the growth of cancer cells , which
are then destroyed by the body. // used to prevent painful episodes and
reduce the need for blood transfusions in patients with sickle cell anemia. It
works by making the red blood cells more flexible.
10.Methylphenidate - CNS stimulant // used to treat ADD/ ADHD and
narcolepsy. // increases attention and decreases restlessness in children
and adults who are overactive, cannot concentrate for very long, or are
easily distracted and impulsive.

It also works to treat other conditions by reducing swelling and redness and by changing the way the immune system works.

Prednisone - corticosteroid // used to treat conditions such as arthritis, blood disorders, breathing problems, severe allergies, skin diseases, cancer, eye problems, and immune system disorders. // it decreases your immune system's response to various diseases to reduce symptoms such as swelling and allergic-type reactions.
  3. Levothyroxine - hormone // used to treat an underactive thyroid gland (hypothyroidism) // It replaces or provides more thyroid hormone, which is normally produced by the thyroid gland resulting in an increase of energy and metabolism levels (therapeutic effect)
  4. Epoetin Alfa - works by signaling the bone marrow to make more red blood cells // used to treat anemia (low red blood cell count) in people with long- term serious kidney disease (chronic kidney failure), people receiving zidovudine to treat HIV, and people receiving chemotherapy for some types of cancer (cancer that does not involve the bone marrow or blood cells) // It may also be used in anemic patients to reduce the need for blood transfusions before certain planned surgeries that have a high risk of blood loss (usually given with an anticoagulant/"blood thinner" medication such as warfarin to lower the risk of serious blood clots).
  5. Timolol - beta blocker // used to treat glaucoma (condition where there is increased pressure in the eye resulting in gradual loss of vision). // works by decreasing the pressure in the eye
  6. Baclofen - skeletal muscle relaxant (antispasmodic) // used to help relax certain muscles in your body. It relieves the spasms, cramping, and tightness of muscles caused by medical problems, including multiple sclerosis or certain injuries to the spine.
  7. Atropine - anticholinergic // multiple uses: reduces saliva and fluid in the respiratory tract during surgery. It can also be used in an emergency to treat a slow heartbeat (by increasing it).
  8. Mannitol - diuretic // helps produce more urine resulting in loss of salt and excess water from the body. It treats swelling from heart, kidney, or liver disease. It also treats swelling around the brain or in the eyes.

  1. Nitroglycerin - vasodilator // used to prevent chest pain (angina) in people with a certain heart condition (coronary artery disease) // Angina occurs when the heart muscle is not getting enough blood. Furosemide - loop diuretic // used to reduce extra fluid in the body (edema) caused by conditions such as heart failure, liver disease, and kidney disease. // This can lessen symptoms such as shortness of breath and swelling in your arms, legs, and abdomen. // also used to treat high blood pressure. Lowering high blood pressure helps prevent strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems. // its a "water pill" (diuretic) that causes you to make more urine. Therefore it helps your body get rid of extra water and salt.
  3. Gentamicin - antibiotic // used to prevent or treat a wide variety of bacterial infections // works by stopping the growth of bacteria // use until treatment is 100% completed
  4. Amlodipine - CCB // treats high BP // lowers high blood pressure helps prevent strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems. // works by relaxing blood vessels so blood can flow more easily
  5. Spironolactone- Potassium sparing diuretic // used to treat high blood pressure and heart failure. // Lowers high blood pressure helps prevent strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems. // also used to treat swelling (edema) caused by certain conditions (such as heart failure, liver disease) by removing excess fluid and improving symptoms such as breathing problems. // This med is also used to treat conditions in which the body is making too much of a natural substance (aldosterone). // known as a "water pill"
