 Name and date your module, and choose how you would like the activity to be delivered. Hit “Save and Continue”.

 This will bring you to your module’s customization page. Here, you can name your module, add a date, change the response type, and you will be able to choose whether you would like the activity to be graded on correctness (such as a quiz), or participation (for attendance). Also, we suggest hiding the module from your students until you are ready to deliver.

Learning Catalytics Guide- Delivering Your Session

Starting and Delivering Your Session

Important note: Use a separate device (laptop, tablet, phone) to run your session. This way, the students will

not be able to see the answers until you show the results.

 Before the beginning of class, simply click on “Start Session” in the top left hand corner.

 Provide the class with the session number seen in the right hand corner.

 When you are ready to deliver a question, click on the “deliver” icon on the right hand side of the page.

 This will bring up a chart that will track in real-time your students’ responses. At any time, you can stop or pause the delivery, then deliver again. You may also choose to show the results to your students.

 To navigate through the questions, you can “jump” to a question, click on the question number, or toggle using the arrows on either side of the screen.

 When you are done with the session, click on “Stop Session” in the left hand corner.

 When you are ready to review your results, you can click on the module’s name from your list of modules to enter the module’s page.

 Once inside your module’s page, click on “Review Results” in the upper right corner of the page

 If you delivered the module more than once, you’ll need to select the session you’d like to review

 This will bring you to a page with the results for each round, as well as a list of students, with those who answered correctly in green, and those who answered incorrectly in red.

 To download the results as a spreadsheet for the entire module, click on “Download Results” at the top of the page and choose your format.
