Protecting Ancestral Lands of Indigenous People: The Case of Aeta in Capas, Tarlac, Exercises of Philology

This essay explores the challenges faced by the aeta community in protecting their ancestral lands from external threats such as mining, logging, and large-scale projects. It emphasizes the importance of empowering the aeta to make informed decisions and take action to secure their rights to self-determination and ancestral domain. The essay suggests initiatives to support the aeta in capas, tarlac, including capacity-building programs and on-ground demarcation and processing of their ancestral land.
