Planet Earth

The Earth is a special place as there is no other known planet which has life. It is made up of seven continents and five oceans.

Asia

Asia is the biggest continent. It is separated from the continent of Europe by a land border. Asia is made up of 48 countries, including China, India and Thailand.

Europe

This is the continent that you live in; the United Kingdom is in Europe. Europe is one of the smallest continents but has over 40 countries!

Oceania

Oceania is a continent which is made up of Australia, New Zealand and many other smaller islands. Oceania is home to the Great Barrier Reef and lots of ocean wildlife.

South America

South America is a continent which is made up of 12 different countries. The biggest country in South America is Brazil.

Antarctica

The continent of Antarctica is at the bottom of planet Earth. It is the coldest, driest and windiest continent in the world.
