VISION: This is an aspirational statement that describes the ideal neighborhood and the outcome we are all working toward. This vision statement was developed over the course of the winter/spring by the Community Advisory Committee and working group members, with input from staff and the general public. DRAFT GOAL: This is a broad statement of philosophy that describes hopes for the future of the community on a particular idea, flowing directly from the neighborhood vision. This goal is one of a number of goals developed by the Community Advisory Committee in August 2018. These are draft goals, and you are encouraged to suggest different wording or additional goals as you see fit. DATA: This section contains data that should form the basis for policies and actions below. The ideas were provided by members of the public during the fall/winter outreach of 2017/18. The key questions section contains the results from the questionnaire used at the June 2018 events and throughout the summer outreach. POLICY FRAMEWORK: This is a list of relevant city-wide and regional policies. Policies and actions proposed as part of this neighborhood plan must be in harmony with these adopted city-wide and regional frameworks. DRAFT POLICIES: Policies are issue specific statements related to goals that provide guidance to decision makers and other actors as they choose a course of action. We are asking you to draft policies for the neighborhood plan in this section. DRAFT ACTION PLAN: An action plan lists the concrete things we will do to achieve our community vision and includes information about timing, costs, and who will do the action. We are asking you to identify specific actions (the things we will do) and responsible parties (who will do them).
