STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM The researcher would like to determine the availability of textbooks an its efficiency to the academic performance of the students during this pandemic

  1. What is the respondents profile? a. age b. gender c. grade d. track/strand
  2. What are the effects of availability of textbooks in academic performance of the students?
  3. Quarterly grades of the respondents with textbooks and without textbooks.
  4. What are the common problems encountered by students without textbooks?

RESPONDENTS OF THE STUDY

The respondents of the

study were the Senior High

School Students of Polong

National High School.

RESEARCH INSTRUMENTS

To make the study more conclusive, trustworthy and
meaningful, the researcher made use of descriptive survey
questionnaire or an instrument to collect data on the
perspectives of Senior High School Students of Polong
National High School.
The questionnaire consists of three parts. The first part
covers the personal information such as age, gender, grade,
track/ strand, monthly family income, mother's occupation,
father's occupation and final semestral grade. The name of
the respondent is included also but it is optional. The second
part is all about the contributes of textbooks to the students'
academic performance The third part deals on the effects of
without textbooks in students' academic performance.
