ACTIVITY 1
This is both a pun intended to Sigmund Freud himself (he is known for his mother
complex) that shows the difference between the Id, Ego and Superego in his
Psychoanalytic Theory. In the picture, as it is shown, Superego is like a person's
morality (or if one would imagine it, the angel that appears in a person's shoulders in
cartoons) while the Id is more like the reckless drive of desire (or we can just imagine it
as the devil). Whilst Ego is the 'self' itself, or would be perceived as something akin to a
mediator between the Superego and Id.
