Answer the question thoroughly. Give your answer in not more than 300 words. Question: What is the best way to present data? Why? Through different graphic representation of data, it’s easy for us to read and identify the different data sets. But histogram can be used as the best way to present the data because it provides visual representation of numerical data with its y- axis and x-axis format. Y axis or the vertical lines labeled as either frequency or relative frequency while the x-axis or the horizontal axis is labeled with what the data represents the interval set by the data. Histogram also shows where the data falls within the corresponding range of values that’s why it is more convenient to eye because the graph will have the same vertically rectangle shape with a label that you can easily identify the differences of your data sets. It also analyzes large data sets by reducing the number of graphs into only one graph. And based on my observations, histogram shows an accurate comparison of the data which is actually a bar chart that shows how the data is being distributed and helps us determine the pattern of frequencies. It doesn’t even confuse us by looking at the graph because it is very easy and simple, we used this graph for groups of numbers according to how often they appear. Like for example, when we consider the set {2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 15, 17, 19, 20, 20, 27, 29, 29} it will indicate to the graph how the data range is being distributed. When a graph shows how many ones,
how many twos, how many threes is a kind of complicated thing but when you use histograms, it will give us convenient ranges which we can identify the frequency distribution. 2
