Split plot experiment among four women who attended law school together (golfers are factor B, fixed, as
they are the only women who play together regularly). Their town has 3 golf courses (factor A, which we
treat as fixed, since these are only courses they play on). Further, they decide to do an experiment to
compare their golf scores. They play each course on 3 weekends (factor C, random). There is a restriction
on the randomization since they play together (on the same course) on each of the days they play.
a) Write out the full statistical model in Kuehl’s form.
b) Give the Analysis of Variance and parameter estimates
c) Test for golfer effects, course effects, and interaction (each at
=0.05).).
d) Give critical values for golfer effects (Bonferroni, Tukey)
