REPORT
Introduction
The aim of this report is to outline the effectiveness of the new Computer Centre, which was
recently implemented, address the new issues this can provoke, and propose some useful
recommendation on this subject.
Effectiveness
To begin with, the implement of this Computer Centre has provided members with an effective
way which allows members having an entrance to extra information besides books and any
other already in use tool. Furthermore, the majority of members registered a positive attitude
towards the new computer system. Talking about copies, members are not disgusted with it,
despite some of them are in favour of hard copies.
Issues
In terms of privacy, a vast majority reported of a need in the security system. Even though the
access to this computing facilities was well regarded, there was a clear insistence on improving
safety and security. Related with copies, these members made the request for putting printers.
What is more, the software presented a lack of tools which may result in the dissatisfaction
among the users. For this reason, the software may need to have a couple of upgrades.
Conclusion
All things considered, the implement of the Computer Centre it has been a success, although in
order to satisfy our members preferences, the implement of a security system in computers is
necessary. This could be done through an official library platform in which members could log
in and out whenever they want. In terms of software, a more advanced and polyvalent
software could solve lots of problems.
