He used impasto technique in his artwork to add emotion and movement also he used spiraling lines to create the swirling night sky. We could really get into just the tapestry of varied blue brush strokes in the night sky. We are thinking that we modern people seldom can enjoy a true night sky due of pollution and all the city lights. It is beautiful when one does get to witness a bright night sky. This artwork shows so much beauty and sadness because he made these artwork despites of his mental health. As a conclusion, line is important in an art. It serves as a foundation in making an art.
