maximize their profit
in their clothing business by
maximizing
their sales with the capital of
P20,000.00
with 360 shorts and shirts sold every
month. Using
graphical
method to analyse and determine the
most
attractive region. The data analysis
intends to
determine whether the store owner can maximize
the revenue overtime and
his return of investment.
Result
In this study we conclude that the t-shirts are way
more selling than shorts, that’s why we can see in the
graph that
the
more shaded region are the t-shirts, and
by
maximizing
their
profit we conclude that the store owner
must
buy
moret-shirts than shorts to be stored in their
inventory
to
minimize their
loss and to fasten their
return
of investment.
Problem
The FAB clothing store is the one most visited clothing store
in the town of Jose
Panganiban owned by
two
people which
refers to mother and
his son. The ownersella clothes
( t-shirts and shorts
). The
store owner pays ₱250.00 for each t-shirts and ₱180.00 for each shorts. The store owner have a profit
of ₱50.00
in t-shirt and have a profit of ₱30.00. The store owner estimate that
no
more than 360
clothes
can
be sold every month.
Item Cost Profit Demand
T-shirt ₱250.00 ₱50.00 360
Short ₱180.00 ₱30.00
The store owners doesn’t
plan to invest
more ₱20,000.00 of these clothes.
How
many of each should
be stored
in their
inventory in order to maximize they monthly total
profit.
