ABSTRACT

The research being carried out to analyse the future trends of

royal Enfield; which they can either adopt or to reject to

increase their market share. The research is to be carried out in

a systematic approach so as to get the clear-cut results. The

population is being divided into geography and age group for

the sampling. The questionnaire is being prepared to gather the

inputs from the customers; existing as well as to be the

customers. Data is also gathered from dealerships and

experts’ .study is conducted experimentally as well as through

survey methods.

Royal Enfield one of the oldest iconic motorcycle

brand having a long-lasting survival history of 100 years was

losing their market share in early 2000; they were only able to

produce 2000 bikes within the installed capacity of 6000.having

a higher fan base for royal Enfield the company was not able to

make a remarkable market share. Royal Enfield launched in

1901 made their India entry in 1949; later in 1994 Eicher

motors acquired royal Enfield.

OVERVIEW

We will be conducting a business research on weather the royal Enfield can have a higher market share by innovative product designs. The research is to be conducted among a population sample of different geographies and different age groups. EXPERIENCE SURVEY Experience survey is to be conducted among existing royal Enfield users and dealerships and also the persons close working with automobile industry. PILOT STUDY Pilot study is conducted to by close examining the royal Enfield users about what all are the difficulties they face. SURVEY Survey is conducted in a questionnaire form to acquire information from bike users, especially from the royal Enfield users and those who tend to use royal Enfield. HISTORICAL DATA Historical data is being collected from the existing dealerships and users about their past experience and feedbacks on the product

POPULATION AND STUDY SAMPLE

We will be having a study sample according to different geographies and in the particular geographical population we will form clusters according to age group.

SAMPLE SIZE AND SELECTION OF SAMPLE

Sampling is to be carried out in probability way as it will only give the exact results as compared to the non-probability sampling.

SECONDARY DATA

Data Management

Editing and Coding of data is conducted in this stage. Responses received through questionnaire will be coded in 1 & 2 for true or false.it will help us to analyse the data much faster.
