Tasks to be completed in Weeks 10 and 11 (11/6 – 11/19):
1. Read Chapter 8 of the textbook. Try out all projects covered in your reading.
2. Review Chapter 1 of the textbook.
3. In course Discussion Board forum Weeks10and11, reply to each of the following
questions:
a. In one or few sentences, informally explain what are application servers
(applications? Software frameworks? Etc.)?
b. There are two types of session beans: stateless and stateful. Which of them
could provide better scalability (serving more concurrent clients faster)?
c. What is the main function of J2EE SDK’s “Deploytool”?
