1.1.1 Sampling Method
The researcher has used stratified random sampling method to select samples from target
population. As mentioned in (Kothari, 2004), stratified sampling results in more reliable and
detailed information and enable to get more representative samples. The target population was
stratified in to two strata according to the level of responsibility, which is managerial and non-
managerial. Managerial responsibility was considered from the top operations manager, to
foreman level, and the remaining down the line were considered as non-managerial.
