Time is an important factor in our lives. We measure everything that we do by the ticking of the clock. This invisible force is what drives us forward, reminding us that every second will never be returned to us. Time moves in a forward fashion, and so we must use it to the best of our capabilities, making every moment count.
(^) Project is done by planning the tasks that are needed to be accomplished in order to complete the project. Planning is done based on three things: Resource, Predecessor and Time. The project schedule is a major component of any project plan. Remember that a project plan includes: scope management, time management, cost management, quality management, resource management, risk management, issue management, procurement, and communication management. A project schedule considers all the tasks to be completed during the project, so it makes sense that tasks from all aspects of the project plan are included.
(^) Predecessor refers to the network analysis, which determines which of the activities can be successor or predecessor. The predecessor event is an event that must be completed before a specified activity can begin. The dependency between two activities is thereby described. Generally, an activity needs a time period with the determined start and end date. These dates are displayed in the network. (^) A time-bound schedule with estimates of the length of time would take to accomplish a series of arranged tasks is called a timetable. A timetable is usually represented in tabular form. It illustrates the course the project will take from start to completion. (^) Timetables are very helpful in assessing the project’s completion- that is, if you are able to complete a project before a given deadline. It is also useful in monitoring tasks if they are accomplished within the set time limit. This will give you an insight on the impact that delays have on your project as whole/
