A subject knowledge audit for prospective science teachers. It includes a list of topics in various scientific domains, such as energy transfer, electricity, waves, forces, radiation, medical applications, cells, tissues, organs, variation, inheritance and evolution, biochemistry, microbiology, fundamental principles in chemistry, and properties and uses of substances. The audit also includes a recommended reading list for further study.
Typology: Study notes

Purpose of the Audit Your indications of subject knowledge strengths and weaknesses will be used as a basis for discussion during your individual interview and will inform target‐setting afterwards. When the course begins, the audit will also be used to inform planning for the development of key areas of individual trainee subject knowledge.
Please complete the enclosed audit as accurately and completely as possible using the following ‘codes’ where applicable and bring along to your interview.
