V

alue Engineering (VE)

is a systematic project review conducted

during preliminary design by an independent team of experts.Projects with Total Cost > $40 million are required to have a formal ValueEngineering (VE) study.

Project Managers should consider whether a VE study

could be beneficial to a project, even when it is not required. The outcome of a VE study could impact project scope and should be conducted asearly as possible.Benefits of VE include: •^

Providing the desired functions safely, reliably, efficiently, and at the lowestoverall cost,

-^

Improving the value and quality of the project, and/or

-^

Reducing the time needed to complete the project.

spokesperson.

If there’s a tie for low or high roll, everyone

rolls again.^ –

Bonus: For each box cars or snake eyes rolled, the person to the left ofthe dice roller must loudly proclaim his/her love of Justin Bieber.
